Acceptable Use Policy

room redesign is an AI interior designer. You send a photo of a room and, if you like, a short note. We draw a new design for that room and find real products to buy. This policy says what you may ask it to make. It is part of our Terms of Service.

What the service is for

Redesigning homes and offices: furniture, textiles, lighting, decor, colours and layout. Notes and photos should be about the room. Requests outside that are refused or ignored.

No sexual or NSFW content

room redesign does not generate sexual, nude or otherwise NSFW images, and you may not ask it to. This covers nudity, sexual acts or poses, sexualised people, fetish content and suggestive imagery of any kind, in a photo you upload or in a note you write. Anything involving minors in a sexual way is forbidden without exception and will be reported to the authorities.

Other content you may not request or upload

• Violence, gore, weapons used to threaten or harm, or self-harm.
• Hate, harassment, or content that demeans people for who they are.
• Illegal activity, drugs, or anything that breaks the law where you or we are.
• Real people who have not agreed to it, or other people's private spaces photographed without permission.
• Deceptive content, such as fake listings or images presented as real photos to mislead someone.
• Material that infringes someone else's copyright, trademark or other rights.

How we enforce it

• On the website, every note is screened before anything is drawn. Before your text reaches the image model, it is checked by our payment provider's content moderation service (Creem). A note it refuses or flags is blocked, and nothing is generated. If the check itself is unavailable, we block the request rather than generate unchecked.
• Our AI provider (OpenAI) applies its own safety filters to every photo and image.
• The designer only works on rooms. Off-topic requests are declined.
• Blocked requests are not charged: the credit is only used when a design is delivered.
• We may suspend or close accounts that repeatedly try to get around these rules, without refunding credits used for that purpose.

Your photos

Only upload photos you took or have the right to use. Avoid photos with people in them; the service is about the room, not them. Your photos are used to make your design, as described in our Privacy Policy.
